I am 40. I do not want to look 40. I intend to fight it every step of the way. I have four rules for myself eat right, go to the gym, take care of my skin and do something each day that I love.

I came to the conclusion that you are also faced with not wanting to look 40. You may also have a cabinet of stuff that worked for you but no longer works. I had that happen with my hair. Cleansers

Real Chemistry fresh start foaming cleanser
This is suggested to use after their peel. I liked the texture, and it foamed easily. You apply it in circular motions. I wasn’t a fan of the smell. However, the product left my skin taut so I would use it again. I give it 4 lips.

Moisturizers

Clinique Repairwear Uplifting Firming Cream
It has an interesting smell and it spread on easily. it is for combination skin. I used it for three weeks. I didn’t see much of a difference but maybe over time I would have. I also do not have extensive areas that need uplifting but I will give it two lips for effort because you can feel some firming when you apply it.

Eye Creams

Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Age-Correcting Eye Creme
I used this for three weeks and I didn’t see much of a difference. I found that it dried the area around my eye. I just wasn’t impressed. I give it 2 Lips

Peels

Acure Fruit Peel Purifying
It went on smoothly but it took forever to try. I waited 12 minutes and then peeled it off. It should be on for 5-8 minutes 1-2 times per week. I liked the smells but my skin really didn’t feel that different aftewards nor did it look different. It wasn’t my favorite peel. I give it 1 pair of lips.

Microdermabrasion

I give it 4 pairs of lips. This came as a sample in my BirchBox.

Sunscreen

Lancôme Bienfait Uv SPF 50+ Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Super Fluid Light-weight, Oil-free Facial Sunscreen
This is by far my favorite product for sunscreen for my face. I wear it year long. It is light and doesn’t move during the day. I highly suggest this product it improves the way your skin feels and protects it. I give it 5 lips it is a true must have.

COOLA mineral based SPF 30 unscented matte tint received in my Birch Box.
I found that the product just laid on face and didn’t really work that well for me. It was said to hydrate but that wasn’t my experience. I would live it 2 lips because it may work for someone else and it is a great idea if you like mineral make up but it wasn’t a score for me.
