It’s National Hamburger Month ya’ll! Hamburger is one of my favorite things to cook with because it can be used in so many different ways. One of my favorite ways to use hamburger meat is with Hamburger Helper®! Not only is Hamburger Helper® delicious , but it’s easy to make and a quick weeknight dinner solution. And while Hamburger Helper® is perfect on its own, it’s also really awesome to shake it and personalize. So in honor is National Hamburger Month I wanted to share with you my Cheeseburger Casserole Featuring Hamburger Helper® Recipe! Let’s check it out:
Here is how to make this Cheeseburger Casserole Featuring Hamburger Helper® Recipe:
You Will Need The following ingredients that you can find at your local Wal-Mart:
- 1 Box Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper®
- 1 lb Hamburger Meat
- 2 cups Shredded Cheese
- 1 bag Corn Chips
- (Optional) Green Onion
First, In a skillet brown your hamburger meat. Drain.
Next, Add in your milk, water, butter, and Hamburger Helper® ingredients according to package directions. Bring to a boil and then cover and cook for about 12 minutes. (Make sure to stir occasionally)
Then, Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Transfer your Hamburger Helper® to the bottom of a casserole dish.
Next, it’s time to add a little crunch to your meal. I used about 1/2 a bag of corn chips in my recipe. You can add more of less depending on how much crunch you like!
Next, it’s time to add the cheese! I used 2 cups of Mexican cheese on top of mine. Bake your casserole at 350 for about 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly.
Before serving add your chopped green onions and serve. This Cheeseburger Casserole Featuring Hamburger Helper® Recipe has quickly become a family favorite, and a personal favorite of mine because it’s SO easy to make!
