Chutzpah: Dance Like no one is watching
ChutzpaChutzpah. This is a word that is used often by myself because sometimes I just can’t believe what people do. I mean really! I thought it would be fun to share our Chutzpah moments. The only rules are no names of stores, people, or events. You may also not use inappropriate language. Leave a comment listing your favorite Chutzpah moment! I mean laughter is the best medicine.
chutzpah Or khutspe. Nerve, extreme arrogance, brazen presumption. In English, chutzpah often connotes courage or confidence, but among Yiddish speakers, it is not a compliment.
Do you ever dance? I mean really dance. The kind of dancing that could be used against you if anyone ever saw you. I recently heard my daughter tell my son to dance like mom wasn’t watching. I was puzzled what type of dancing was my son doing that my daughter felt that it should be hidden. The other question is just because I am not looking at her doesn’t mean I can’t hear what she says. I am not going to share that information with her because she will begin to whisper. I did get a quick glimpse of “dance like mom isn’t watching.” It was very funny and involved a lot of bum bum movement.
In life have the Chutzpah to dance like mom isn’t watching!
