Memories in pictures

I have been taking a photography class and it really taught me a lot about pictures and capturing the moment over the perfect picture. I began to think about it isn’t life like that as well. Should we spend a lot of time putting together the perfect event and stressing about all the details or should we try our best learn to love the results. I was pleasantly surprised by a picture that was a mistake. I set up my camera and I was sure we were in the frame. I had us seat “in position”. I checked the light. I moved everything out of the background.I convinced everyone to stay still and smile. Then snap we took the picture. It isn’t what I envisioned but I love it. The kids didn’t listen to my instructions to sit still or look perfect and as a result I got a picture that is real. I now stop and think before I expected or decide to create perfection. It is the imperfections that make us unique and special.
