Quick Tailgating Food Ideas
Quick Tailgating Food Ideas
It is Saturday and in my house that is college game day and I need quick tailgating food ideas. Let me tell you the rules for my game day. You must wear your team colors. In our house, they are orange and blue. I believe after my kids learned to say, Mom and Dad, and then I taught them “Go Gators.” I may be exaggerating I did, however, teach them the chomp. Well back to game day. No one sits in my chair. I will not move until the game is over no matter what. If you aren’t prepared to behave then, you can’t eat my snacks.
You know besides my team the next necessary item is food. You can’t have a good tailgate without the best tailgating food. There is another rule, tailgating food has to taste great, and it has to be easy. I am not missing one minute of my game to make food. That means it has to be something that can be made during commercials or halftime. That is why my pre-party planning involves heading to Walmart and picking up my snacks!
I grabbed these in their grocery’s freezer.
Tyson® Any’tizers Boneless Wyngz – Honey BBQ
Ball Park® Flame Grilled Beef Patty. You can microwave these in one minute! Score!
The wings are my husband’s thing, and I am using the Ball Park Flame Grilled Beef Patty to make my favorite burger. I love to make my Hawaiian burger. It is the answer to my sweet and savory flavor and easy enough that anyone can throw it together.
Here’s my Hawaiian Burger Recipe
Ingredients:
Ball Park® Flame Grilled Beef Patty
Onion rings
Pineapple rings
Cheese
Bun
aioli mayo
bacon
You will need to microwave the burger for the quickest meal option ever! If you feel like grilling, then the Ball Park Flame Grilled Beef Patty can be grilled too. I have been known to break out my mini grill and plug it into the wall so I do not have to move from my chair because I just can’t miss a second of the game.
The next thing you do is put the onion rings in the oven as per the instructions. Then you assemble your Hawaiian Burger pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese and enjoy.
The order can be your own but this is how I make mine: bread, Aioli mayo thinly spread, cheese, pineapple, Ball Park Flame Grilled Beef Patty, bacon, and the bun.
So I guess this party isn’t all about me, so it is important to also make other snack options for your friends. I find the Tyson® Any’tizers Boneless Wyngz – Honey BBQ to be a crowd pleaser. I have had to throw flags for excessive use of the hands to the face when I serve these. I have to remind my children I can make more and eating them one at a time is part of my game day rule. They are sweet and tasty, and you can’t just eat one.
Tyson® Any’tizers Boneless Wyngz are truly the perfect compliment to my Hawaiian burgers made with Ball Park® Flame Grilled Beef Patty.
The secret to a great tailgate at home or on the go is great food! Then it doesn’t matter if your team wins or loses. Well, it matters but nothing is worse than being hungry and your team losing! Thanks! Tyson® and Ball Park® for teaming up to help America create the ultimate tailgating party experience in my home and yours.
