Super Bowl Preparation on a Budget – Easy Pesto Bread Recipe
ink appetizers. I know all of you football fans are rolling your eyes, but you have to have tasty food!
If you are hosting a Super Bowl party, keep your budget in mind. There are several appetizer type dishes you can make without spending a lot of money. If you are planning a full menu, plan a meal that easily feeds a crowd with little effort. My two favorite crowd pleasing meals are crock pot chili and pulled pork sandwiches. Both of those dishes are budget friendly.
Finger foods such as a meat and cheese platter are always a hit. To add a little football flair, use football shaped cookie cutters to cut out the cheese. Alternatively, you could use a cookie cutter shape that represents your favorite team. A cheese ball is easy to make and you can shape it into a football.
My mom makes a wonderful Pesto Bread appetizer. The ingredient measurements are not exact, but they don’t have to be for this recipe. Warning, they are addicting!
