Pressure Cooker Corned Beef Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • Corned beef The kind with the spices
  • One can of beer
  • potatoes Optional
  • 2 cups of carrots Optional
  • You can add in cabbage if you want (We didn't because we were making Reubens and we were using sauerkraut.

Instructions
 

  • In your pressure cooker place your vegetables first at the bottom.
  • Pour 1 1/2 cups of beer on top of the vegetables.
  • Then put in your trivet or you can use this excellent sling.
  • Place the corned beef on top of the sling or the trivet.
  • Then sprinkle with the pepper pack that came with the corned beef
  • Finally, turn on the pressure cooker set it for 25 minutes.
  • Once it has cooked let the water release then I suggest being careful and using your mits as you open the pressure cooker.
  • Then take the corned beef out and place it on a cutting board.
  • Cut the corned beef at and angle to get the best flavor.
  • You can eat with the potatoes or place it on Rye bread with Thousand Island dressing (Ketchup, Mayo, and relish), swiss cheese, sauerkraut for a Reuben.
