Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium bowl prepare the dough by whisking the dry ingredients together first (flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.) Then using a pastry blender if you have one or a fork if you don't, 'cut' in the butter and egg. The dough should be crumbly.
Use the wrappers of the butter sticks to grease a 9x13.
Press 1/2 of the dough mixture into the 9x13.
Put the dough bowl and 9x13 in the refrigerator while you mix the filling.
In another bowl prepare the filling by putting the lemon juice on the peaches. Mix the dry ingredients together in another container then 'dust' the peaches with the dry ingredients. The longer you let them sit the pieces will moisten the dusting. That is not a problem!
Spread the filling evenly on the crust in the 9x13 then sprinkle the rest of the dough on top.
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until lightly brown.
