How to do a Newspaper Saying Plate
Supplies
- Newspaper or pictures printed on plain printer paper
- Glue
- Water
- A plate
- Scissors
- Ceramic Sealer Spray Paint
Directions
Wipe your plate clean of any dust or dirt
Cut out letters from the news paper for what ever saying you want to put on your plate.
Arrange letters on the plate to make sure they fit
Mix 1 part glue to two parts water in a bowl
Remove the letters, everywhere there was letters paint on the glue water mix, and reapply the letters.
Once you have the letters where you want them pain a layer of water glue mix over the entire surface, make sure to push the paper down into the corners if you are not only covering the flat area.
Let dry
Once dry coat with a coat of the ceramic sealer spray paint
Let dry
Coat with another layer of ceramic sealer spray paint
Let dry
Display the plate or give it as a gift.
