You can check out their new menu right here Hello New Menu!
I had my choice of beverages. You all know I am not a drinker but I will try for my employment sake. I loved this drink. It was sweet!
Wild Orchid Hawaiian Martini
Cruzan Guava rum, pineapple juice, Zico coconut water, + the island flavors of desert pear and coconut. Garnished in true Hawaiian-style with a floating orchid. yummy! Yummy! It was so good I never drink but I drank the whole glass.
Cold Snap Cucumber Cosmo
Reyka vodka, Solerno Blood Orange liqueur, and fresh English Cucumbers served on the rocks in our signature ice glass. A refreshing fix to cool your senses this summer! Not really my type of drink…. but it looked nice..
Modern Mojito Pyrat amber rum, homemade fresh mint simple syrup, a hint of orange + Grand Marnier.- This was Karla’s favorite but she only had a sip or two she was driving… but she vowed to comeback when her husband is the driver.
Bang Bang Shrimp® Flatbread
mozzarella cheese, crispy shrimp, cilantro + a creamy, spicy sauce I rate this a 9 out of 10 (it is a little spicy but amazing)
NY Strip Tataki
USDA Choice NY Strip, seared + thinly sliced, served with Thai peppers + mustard soy sauce (10 out of 10 but the sauce is major hot no need for it the meat melts in your mouth)
Watermelon Salad
salsa verde mixed with arugula + English cucumbers, topped with Feta cheese crumbles, pepitas, creamy Feta cheese dressing (10 out of 10 who knew this would be so awesome!)
These are the main courses we tried and the sides
Spicy Tuna
premium sushi grade, sesame-seared rare, avocado, sweet chile sauce, jasmine rice + passion fruit salsa 9 out of 10 it was good but after having the steak nothing compared!
Not pictured below the lightening wasn’t great for iphone photography.
Seared NY Strip
marinated cucumbers, roasted peanuts, passion fruit salsa, green onions, carrots, jasmine rice + black pepper aioli it was really super! 9 out of 10 because the steak that was pictured is the best steak I have ever had… ever.. and I have been to world class steak houses.
Shrimp Pad Thai
rice noodles, green onions, peanuts, egg + traditional Pad Thai sauce Karla’s new favorite dish. This was wonderful the flavors were spot on. 9 out of 10.
Kona Rubbed Rib-Eye Steak 13 oz USDA Choice Rib-Eye served with Porcini mushroom ravioli + wood-grilled broccolini
and we had the following butter. They were super! I mean super. I mean really super. Béarnaise Sauce
Porcini Sage Butter
White Truffle Butter
Creamy Mushroom + Bacon Sauce
I give this Rib eye a 100 out of 10. It was amazing!
Crab rice.. let me tell you I could have just ordered this it was a meal on its own. I am ordering this again. Delish!
These were the dessert option.. I will not even go into how good they were. I loved the flat bread and the smores. It was very sweet and delicious. I say save room. Did I tell you to save room.
S’mores Flatbread
creamy chocolate, toasted marshmallow + sliced almonds, sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs 9 out of 10. It was good but really sweet.
Thank you to the Staff at bonefish. Our waitress Erica was superior. She didn’t even know I was working until I had to explain why I was photographing everything before I ate it. Bloggers look really odd when they work. Then this guy was a photo bomber and he wanted his 15 minutes of fame. So love to him as well. The manager Travis was also personable and informative. I love that at Bonefish the staff is so warm, friendly, and trained on what they have to offer. I hate going to a restaurant and the staff has no idea what is in the dish. The managing partner Andy is awesome and I look forward to working for Bonefish sooner than later. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed my night out. I did have awesome company, food, and a pleasant experience.
