Chutzpah: bullies
ChutzpaChutzpah. This is a word that is used often by myself because sometimes I just can’t believe what people do. I mean really! I thought it would be fun to share our Chutzpah moments. The only rules are no names of stores, people, or events. You may also not use inappropriate language. Leave a comment listing your favorite Chutzpah moment! I mean laughter is the best medicine.
chutzpah Or khutspe. Nerve, extreme arrogance, brazen presumption. In English, chutzpah often connotes courage or confidence, but among Yiddish speakers, it is not a compliment.
I am so tired of bullies. A bully is a person who attacks or undermines someone else to make themself feel better. Yes, that is my opinion. We recently had someone in our community take their life. The reaction was one of sadness and heartache and the cause was bullies. Then I heard people justify the bullying because the child was “different.” Who determines what is different? When is it okay to be mean to anyone? I am going to be honest you are not the prettiest, smartest, skinniest, most amazing person ever so consider that the next time you justify bad behavior. Bad behavior is just bad and instead of continuing it turn around and challenge people who say nasty things. I have the chutzpah to do so do you?
