Crafting with Kids: Using Sensory to Maximize Experience

Meet Stephanie! She’s a 24 year old stay at home Mom, who couldn’t ask for a better blessing than to be home with her daughter!! Sensory projects are a huge deal in our house. In fact, I try and incorporate some sort of sensory into each project we do. This can include focusing on sensory and making homemade play-dough (Which is super easy and lots of fun!!) or just simply letting your little ones use their fingers to put the glue on their projects!

Even something as little as letting your little one use their fingers instead of a q-tip to apply glue to a project will make them look at the project in a whole different way. It will seem more interesting to them! Plus, let’s face it….dry glue feels sort of weird and if I can be totally honest…It takes a long time for them to peel the glue off their fingers giving you plenty of time to clean up!
