DIY Snow
DIY Snow
Being from the south, I am a huge fan of DIY Snow, and make it every year for my little girl! This project is easy to do, and your kids will love it! We use this DIY Snow for craft projects, or just to play around it! It’s a great holiday sensory activity for younger kids too! I also love that it is easy enough for the kids to do all on their own!
Here is what you will need to make DIY Snow:
- 1 box of corn starch
- 1 can of shaving cream
- 1 tube iridescent glitter
- Optional: peppermint extract for scent
- A bowl for mixing!
Yep that is right! only 3 ingredients!
Here is how to make DIY Snow:
Step 1: Pour your corn starch into a bowl, add in about 1/2 the can of shaving cream and mix with your hands.
Step 2: As your snow starts to form, add in more of your shaving cream a little at a time until your snow starts to clump up and come together.
Step 3: Mix in your iridescent glitter and mix well! Use for craft projects or take it outside and have a snowball fight! Store in Ziploc bags in the fridge and it will last weeks!
