Easy and fun Rocketship Corn Dogs + FREE Space helmet Printable!
School is out and summer is finally here! I for one am super excited to spend the summer hanging out with my kids. The time has come to sleep in, stay up a little later, and have some fun. But we do want to make sure that we all don’t end up sitting in front of our TVs all day, so I like to plan fun arts and crafts and educational projects for us to do in the summer. State Fair® thinks the same thing! They want to remind you that life is an adventure and it’s all in how you look at it!
Tyson Foods, Inc. has launched a Life’s an Adventure website that you can visit and embark on 4 unique adventures. Unlock each adventure of your choosing with one easy question (one per day). One of my favorite themes is anything Space so I was excited to have some fun with my kids on a space adventure. You need a yummy snack to help fuel you for a space themed adventure so I thought it would be neat to make some Rocketship Corn Dogs and a Space Helmet Photo Prop for some snacks and silly fun. State Fair® Corn Dogs are a great source of protein, and it’s something all of my kids can agree one, so that’s a win-win to me. And they are available at our local Kroger which is my favorite grocery store! You can find them in the snack case of the freezer section.
Let’s check out how to make my Rocketship Corn Dogs and blast off into some fun:
You Will Need:
- State Fair® Corn Dogs
- Colby Cheese Cubes
- Toothpicks
- Tin Foil
- Ketchup (or any other condiments you would like)
Step 1: First you will want to cook your State Fair® Corn Dog. Try not to eat them yet!
Step 2: Cut the top off your corn dogs. You can eat this part while you work, ha!
Step 3: Cut your cube cheese in half diagonally to create 2 triangles.
Step 4: Push a toothpick into your corn dog, and push your cheese tip on top. Do you see your rocketship forming?
Step 5: Use tin foil (or streamers) and arrange them on the bottom of your corn dog.
Step 6: Now it’s time to add your condiments of choice and blast off into a tasty treat.
There you have it! Super easy and fun Rocketship Corn Dogs! The perfect snack to have while working your way through the fun recipes, activities, coloring sheets, and more on the Life’s an Adventure Website!
But wait, there’s more!
What’s a Rocketship without an astronaut right? So I made a printable of an astronaut helmet for the kids to assemble and use for fun space themed pictures. Enjoy!
