How to Throw a New Years Eve Party for Everyone
Fun New Years Party Ideas
The ball is dropping. I am planning on making my normal resolution which is to save money. I do this every year, and every year I save money. The trick to saving money is simple, only spend money on what you enjoy. I happen to enjoy having friends over for parties. That can get expensive. I shop at Save-A-Lot to cut my costs. I find that they have a great selection and the prices help me to start my New Year off right. I will share some of my New Year Eve Ideas For Parties.
In the past, I have done old movie night where you watch movies one from each decade you were born. I have done a New Years Eve fancy dinner complete with steak and lobster. I have thrown a girl’s night in 80’s party. I have also thrown a buffet party with my kids to watch the ball drop. This year I am going to do a Chocolate Fondue Dessert Party. I know squeal isn’t that a great idea? Who doesn’t like chocolate?

Once you have your idea then you will need to take these steps to make sure you have a successful event.
1. You will first need to determine who you will invite.
2. Then you will need to send them out invites. Print this Free Invitation.
3. Find great fondue recipes. Like this one for Chocolate fondue
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1 bag of melting chocolate
1/2 tsp of vanilla
You will warm the heavy cream and on low add in the melting chocolate. Keep stirring until blended. Then add in the remaining vanilla. Serve warm.
4. Head to Save-A-Lot to buy your ingredients. You can find the closest store near you here. I also suggest that you sign up for the Save-A-Lot Smart Shopper Club so that you’ll get the latest weekly specials on your email. They will also send you tasty and affordable recipes, kitchen hacks and tips.
5. Research Table Decor
6. Set the table with a festive fair.
7. You will greet your guests warmly with holiday cheer.
Tips: The table should be tall so people can stand and chat or seat are fine as long as people are close enough to reach the fondue pot. I suggest an electric fondue pot because it is easier to control.
You can see at my Chocolate Fondue Party I made several varieties of chocolate. I used the candy melts I found at Save-A-Lot.
Here is another bonus white chocolate fondue idea
The easiest recipe is to use 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 1 package of candy melts, and 1 tsp vanilla or peppermint extract. You just place the milk in the fondue pot and then add the candy melt on medium heat. Finally, you stir in the tsp of flavoring and turn the pot down to low.
I was able to grab these items to dip:
- Marshmallows
- Oranges
- Strawberries
- Cheesecake
- Angelfood cake
- Bananas
- Pecans
Real Advice Gal tip: The best part of my party is I asked my guests to each bring an item to dip. They will bring cookies, pretzels, nuts, pound cake, and pineapple.
