Happy Anniversary

Dear Mr. Madame Deals,

I know you read my site today because your favorite part of my blog is Karla’s Korner.  Yes, Karla you are his favorite writer. I figure he hears enough from me daily. I always think back to our wedding day. I had no idea what I was agreeing to. I mean I promised “forever” and I didn’t realize how much work it takes to make that happen. I am sure that everyday hasn’t been wonderful and easy but they have been days that we have conquered together. If I thought I loved you when we got married 12 years ago I now know that I do. You drive me crazy and make me laugh in the same sentence. You challenge me to be better, quieter, and more relaxed. You march to the beat of your own drummer and I have learned to accept we each have our own music and that is okay. I learned that life is about more than yourself and knowing that even if we do not agree that we are here for one another. It seems in moments that those years have flown by but some days have lasted forever. It is the little things that make all the difference and you always do the little things.

I just wanted you to know I am glad you work on our relationship daily and that you always put us first. You were right it is nice if a guy brings you flowers once in awhile its is nice but it is even better if he plants you roses so you can enjoy them forever. I think you approach our relationship the same way it is all the little things that mean something when you love someone it isn’t the grand gestures that count it is the every day “good deeds.”  I am sure you know I love you to the moon and back and bigger than the whole universe.
