How to Make Wash Cloth Bunnies aka Boo Boo Bunny

I have seen these little bunnies before and I think they are just adorable. I decided to try to make my own wash cloth bunnies. You won’t believe how easy it is.

Washcloth Bunny step by step instructions

How to make wash cloth bunnies

Here are the materials you need:

  • washcloths (get full size washcloths – not the itty bitty baby ones)
  • googly eyes
  • pom poms
  • ponytail hair bands or rubber bands ( I like hair bands better)
  • glue
  • ribbon (optional)

all the supplies you need to make a washcloth bunny

Secure with a hair band. These are the best hairbands for this project. If you can’t find them at the store, you can get them on Amazon at a great price. Here is the link: https://amzn.to/1RnsbkB (aff)

Glue on eyes and pom poms for a nose and tail. If you used a rubber band then tie a ribbon bow around it to hide it

That’s it! You now have adorable little wash cloth bunnies. The bunny can hold ice for boo boos or treats to cheer up a sick child. A washcloth bunny would be also be a great little gift for a baby shower or to tucked into an Easter basket.

If you wanted to make a lot of these wash cloth bunnies you can get a 24 pack of wash cloths for around $12 on Amazon. I think these would be a perfect little gift for taking to nursing homes during the Spring season or for giving to your preschool class or for a baby shower favor.
