Making Memories
This series on how to make the most out of the time you have with your children is brought to you by Amee at Madame Deals and Sharon at Mom on Dealz.
I am a big believer of routines and their importance in the development of children. In my home we have morning routine, nap routine, and bedtime routine and these help make transitions much easier for us. The also provide us with special time with our children that will be remembered by the boys forever.
Part of our morning routine is to always sing “Good morning to you” to our 15 month old and at night my 3 year old and I always trace “I Heart You” on each other’s hands. The boys love these actions and if by chance we forget, they are QUICK to remind us. These routines are so small but mean so much and help start and end our days on a good note-and that is a memory I definitely want my children to have of their childhood.
