New York Hilton Midtown Review
New York Hilton Midtown Review
There so many reasons to love the Hilton family of hotels. From all of the amenities offered at their many different styled hotels under the Hilton brand, to the immaculate rooms on every level of price range, and all of the benefits of being in HH honors reward member (which is free to join). But for me the reason is very personal. Last summer we had an unexpected water leak in our home that caused us to have to move out in a hurry and move into a hotel for the summer. I was very pregnant with my third child, had two small children home for the summer (in the Florida heat), and we have two cats. They set us up at a Hilton Hotel and the staff took amazing care of us. It truly felt like home for the three months we were there.
Fast forward to this past week when, for the very first time, I left my husband alone with our three children and ventured up to New York City for Blogger Bash 2016. As excited as I was to visit the city and to spend some much needed time focusing on myself and my passion for blogging it meant that I also was very homesick. I also did not expect such a long days. Long, amazing, fun, exhausting, crazy days that meant coming back to the New York Hilton Midtown was like walking into sanctuary. The rooms were immaculate and considering it was New York City they were surprisingly spacious feeling.
Another great part of staying at the New York Hilton Midtown was how central it was. Lucky for us we were able to figure out how to Uber and get to our meetings quickly and easily, but in the evenings it was so nice to be in a fun part of town we could explore easily and without reservation. And because of it’s central location I was also able to sneak back in between meetings and freshen up at one point because it was so convenient.
There were several onsite restaurants and bars, as well as a quick stop shop for any last minute things you made need. There is also a fitness and recreation area with amazing skyline views. At the Hilton they really seem to have thought of everything. Comfort, convenience, price and thoughtfulness are forefront at all Hilton Hotels, but the New York Hilton Midtown was more like home then a hotel and in the hustle and bustle of the city there really isn’t more you can ask for when you are choosing a place to lay your head.
