Nutrisystem Week 4 Check in: How I keep Track
*Diclosure: I am part of the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program, I am receiving 3 months of Nutrisystem free of charge to facilitate this review, and as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own 🙂
Another week of Nutrisystem has gone by! So far I have lost 15 pounds total. This week I did not lose any weight, *but* I did lost almost 2 inches around my waist. So I’m not going to dwell, and I’m going to consider that a win! Overall I am super thrilled about my weightloss for my first month on Nutrisystem, and I’m excited to see what next month brings!
One thing that will be different about this next month is really kicking my exercise into gear. Having my 6 year old at home during the day throws off my schedule (not that I don’t love having her home, I totally do!). She will be returning to school next week, and it will be back to daily work outs for me! I’m hoping this will increase my weightloss and my stamina. I’ll admit it, I hate working out. It’s not fun, and yes I’ve tried all different kinds. I don’t like it, but I’m going to do it. Because what I do like is the results. (Oh, and those people that enjoy working out, I envy you, I really do!).
Something I wanted to talk about today was how I keep track of it all.
A big part of Nutrisystem is keeping track of what you eat. As you know if you are following my posts, you know that you have to supplement your Nutrisystem meals with fresh foods. For every meal (plus a snack) you are supposed to have a PowerFuel (like some cheese) and a SmartCarb (like a slice of whole whear bread) along with 4 servings of veggies and 8 glasses of water. Sometimes that can be hard to keep up with! But I have 3 ways I have found make it easier to keep up with!
1. The Nutrisystem Daily Tracker
This is something that comes with your monthly food order. It has a page for each day for you to write down what you have eaten that day. I will say I use this the least, simply because I forget. It is good to throw in your purse though! You can also track your veggies, water, and workouts!
2. The Nutrisystem App
lNutrisystem has a wonderful app (I use the iPhone app) to help you keep track of everything. I Love this app! Not only can you keep up with everything you eat, it tells you your calorie count, and you can keep up with your weightloss. I use this one a lot. It comes in handy when you are on the go, or on vacation so you don’t have to carry around any paper!
3. Printable Tracker

This is something I made that I use most often when I am home. So I don’t waste paper what I have done is printed it out and stuck it in a picture frame. I then fill it in everyday with a dry erase marker! I have it stuck to my fridge so I remember to fill it in when I make a new meal or snack.
So that is how I keep up with Nutrisystem meals daily. How do you keep up with your food intake? Let us know in the comments below!
