How Long Do You Cook Turkey Breast in A Pressure Cooker
I am cheap. I admit it. I am a hoarder of turkey, ham, and chicken. When I see it on sale I buy it. I can’t help it. I just love to cook big meals for my family it makes me feel great but I hate to pay retail. That brings me to my turkey breast story. I figured out in November you can get Turkey for a lot less. The day after Thanksgiving they mark them down even further. The breasts are so easy to find. What I didn’t know is can you cook a turkey breast in a pressure cooker?
I figured you could since I can cook a whole chicken soup in a pressure cooker. What I wasn’t sure of was how long would it take. I did, however, find out because I needed to make dinner. I intended to cook the turkey breast the normal way in the oven. The problem was my 8 pound Turkey breast was going to take 3.5 hours in the oven. I didn’t have time for that so I decided to try the pressure cooker. I was pleased with my pressure cooker turkey breast recipe. I will tell you the skin doesn’t get crispy like it does in the oven. I was so pressed for time I didn’t throw mine in the oven but I could have on broil for 10-15 minute to crisp it up.
