How to Do a Reusable Bag
Have you seen these super cute reusable bags? You can search and find a lot of moms that make and sell them. but did you know they are SUPER easy to make yourself.
Decide what you want to use them for. If a sandwich or snacks.
For a Sandwich, Measure your bread, top to bottom and side to side.
Now I add about 11/2 inches to the side measurement and 2 1/2 inches to the top and bottom, since I use 1/4 inch seam allowance. If you use a bigger one, then add more.
Now you want an outer and an inner piece. Put the 2 together right sides together and sew together leaving a 2 inch opening on a short end to turn it.
Now turn the bag right side out. Now you will need a piece of velcro. sew the hook side to one of the small sides on the top, and the loop to the other end. So when you fold the bag in half, they will meet and close the top.
Once the velcro is sewn on, you can fold the bag in half and sew the sides together.
Congrats you just made a sandwich bag.
Now you can make in different sizes for the snack size and other items you would need.
