It’s that time of year and many people are getting ready for back to school. One group of people are probably out there spending more than even the most last-minute school supply shopping mom: teachers. Teachers have more shopping to do at this time of year than anyone else. So below we have listed some great Back to School Teacher’s Discounts that are just for them!

Teachers can score 10 to 20% off at all the clothing stores below. Check with the individual stores to find out how much of a discount you get and what is required to get it.

Teachers probably spend more on school supplies than any of us. Here’s some great places were you can score discount if you’re in educator.

SUPPLIES:

The Container Store (sign up for discount offers via email at www.containerstore.com/teachers).

At Home Depot and Lowes you can sign up for coupons via their website or you can show your tax exempt paperwork in store and pay no sales tax.

If you have the Red Apple Card from Hancock Fabrics you can get 10% off (in store only).

Office Depot, OfficeMax, and Staples all offer a percentage back in rewards and/or free shipping programs. At Staples, teachers receive a larger award by signing up for their Staples teacher awards program.

The Scholastic Store has a separate store for educators only where you can save 25% or more.

AC Moore: 15% off
Barnes and Noble: 20 to 25% off
Book Warehouse: Members of the Educators Club receive 15% off
Bookmans.com: If you sign up for “Project: Educate” you can receive 20% off all of your purchases (not just classroom materials)
Books-A-Million teacher discounts: 20% off in store
Half Price Books: (www.HPB.com/community/educators) you can receive 10% off once you sign up for their discount card
Lakeshore Learning Store Teacher Club: 15% off
Joann Fabric and Craft stores: If you sign up for their teacher rewards discount card you receive 15% off.
Michael’s: Receive 15% off your entire purchase every day if you are a teacher.

As an educator you also qualify for some great discounts in areas that affect things you use day-to-day in and out of school.

PHONE PLANS:

Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and U.S. Cellular offer discounts to teachers (call and speak to representative or visit a store for more details).

COMPUTERS/ELECTRONICS:

Apple offers education pricing to teachers and education staff at all grade levels.

Adobe also offers discounts for teachers on some of their products (like Photoshop!).

HP offers up to 15% off discounts for teachers if you join the HP Home Stores Academic Purchase Program.

FOOD:

Qdoba offers educators a free drink.
Every Monday in September teachers with valid ID will receive a free medium hot or iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts.
Uno’s Chicago Grill you can get 10% off of your meal if you have an International Teacher Identity Card.
Panera Bread will give you leftover baked goods for free if you are a teacher in need of baked goods for school events.
