Easy Chicken Taco Ring Recipe
Easy Chicken Taco Ring Recipe
It’s finally here, the week of Thanksgiving! Who else is excited to spend some time with family being thankful and eating some yummy food? This year it’s my turn to hose Thanksgiving in my home for my family. This makes me happy yet a little nervous. We don’t have a huge family, only about 10 of us will be eating dinner, but still, when you are used to cooking for 3 people it can seem like a lot! That’s why I’m thankful for my easy chicken taco ring recipe!
I know most people think about “the bird” when it comes to big family dinners, but you can’t forget about the appetizers! Usually my family is at my home before the main dinner is ready, so I want to make sure they have something to nibble on while I finish. One of my family’s recipes any time of the year is my easy chicken taco ring and I’m ok with that because I can whip it up in no time! Would you like to learn how to make it? Great, let’s check it out!
Here is how to make my easy chicken taco ring recipe:
You Will Need:
- 2 Tubes Crescent Rolls
- 2 Cups Shredded Chicken (I used a rotisserie chicken)
- 1 Packet of Taco Seasoning
- 1 Can Rotel
- 1 Can Corn
- 1 Can Black Beans
- Shredded Mexican Cheese
- Optional: Sour Cream/ Green Onions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, combine your chicken and taco seasoning and mix to combine. Then add in your rotel, corn, and black beans. Mix well.
Step 2: On a pizza pan (you could also use a cookie sheet, a pizza pan is just easier) arrange your crescent roll dough in the shape of a circle, with the ends pointing out.
Step 3: Grab your filling and spoon it around the crescent circle. Top with cheese and fold your crescent dough ends in.
Step 4: Top your chicken taco ring with more cheese and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve hot with some sour cream for dipping.
Now how easy is that? And it doesn’t take anytime to make! Your guests are sure to love this snack while waiting for the main meal! You could also do this with traditional taco meat, or make it meatless with lots of veggies! I hope you enjoyed this recipe!
