Classroom Direct – A Teacher’s Best Friend
As a teacher, I am always needing something for my classroom. It may be office supplies, instructional materials, items for art projects, or even cleaning supplies to help keep sickness at bay. I used to have to do a lot of running around to find these items – and that is time that I just don’t have. Thankfully, I found Classroom Direct – and they have been a lifesaver! If you are a preschool teacher, a school age teacher, or a home school parent and you haven’t used Classroom Direct you are missing out. They are the one stop shop for all of your needs. Their website is easy to use, their prices are reasonable, and best of all your items are shipped right to your door saving you valuable time…with free shipping for orders over $49.00.
There are wonderful resources available on the website. Need an idea for a lesson? Head over to the lesson plan page. Place a check mark next to the subject that you are teaching and the grade level and they will give you ideas – complete with materials needed, instructions, and the standards that are covered in the lesson or project. If you need to order any items to complete the lesson or project, they are right there at the bottom of the page and you can quickly add them to your order. I also enjoy reading their helpful articles and using their inspirational quotes in my classroom.
Our kids were so excited to use their clay, individual white boards, dry erase markers and pencil sharpener from Classroom Direct.
So, head on over to classroomdirect.com and check out their 436 page digital catalog. If you need it – they WILL have it! Then, with the time that you saved by not having to run all over town to find the items you need, take a few minutes for yourself before you head back to doing lesson plans.
Since it’s holiday season, make sure to also check out Classroom Direct Holiday Gift Guide, to see all their teacher selected classroom gift ideas.
