Crockpot Pumpkin Butter

I needed a recipe that would make my children swoon with love. This one is it. What could be more wonderful than starting your day off with pumpkin butter made with Libby’s Pumpkin. You know pumpkin is the super food and after making this recipe you will know why. You will need the following items to make you new favorite breakfast treat.

Crockpot Pumpkin Butter Recipe Ingredients

 

  • 15oz can of Libby 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of apple juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves

Directions:

In a bowl add the Libby 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree, Honey, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves and Nutmeg. Then turn on your crockpot to low. You will add the apple juice in the bottom of the crockpot and then layer the mixture above on top. YOu will cook the butter on low for roughly 5 hours.

Mix them all together. Then place the mixture in the crockpot for 5 hours on low.

 

Then turn on your crockpot to low. You will add the apple juice in the bottom of the crockpot and then layer the mixture above on top. You will cook the butter on low for roughly 5 hours.

Pumpkin is that it’s a versatile vegetable in that can be used in a variety of sweet and savory dishes throughout the year. You can keep canned pumpkin on hand throughout the year and leftover pumpkin can be portioned and stored in the freezer so it ready whenever you want it.
