It’s also easy enough that you can get your kids in the kitchen cooking right along with you. I think it’s important to get my kids in the kitchen with me. They will thank me later when they know how to cook in college, ha! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family and I did!
Here is how to make my Easy Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts Recipe
refrigerated biscuits (any brand)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 cups of vegetable oil (or enough to cover half of your doughnut this depends on your pan size)
Here’s how to make Easy Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts Recipe:
Step 1:Using refrigerated biscuits form the dough into doughnuts shape, using a cutter you can make heart-shaped doughnut holes.
Step 2:Heat the oil to 350 degrees.
Step 3:Then leave the doughnuts in the oil for 30-60 seconds or until it is golden brown.
Step 4:Then you want to allow the oil to drip off the doughnuts.
Step 5:The next thing you need to do is dip them in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
I like to serve my easy cinnamon sugar doughnuts warm. They will last one day and you can heat them for 15 seconds to warm them back up. They are easy to make and I hope you enjoy! What’s great about this recipe is with the base doughnut recipe you can add your own toppings and make homemade doughnuts in whatever flavor you want! Pretty cool right?
