The warm weather is here and it’s time to bask in the sun and enjoy the water with the whole family. Of course, it will not be complete without some yummy snacks to much on. If you have kids for sure most of you have watched the movie Finding Dory. We love the movie so much and have watched it several times. If your kids love the movie for sure they will be thrilled with this Finding Dory Rice Krispies Snacks Recipe. It’s super cute and so yummy too, it’s perfect for your next pool party or even for kids’ Finding Dory themed birthday party.

Finding Dory Rice Krispies Snacks Recipe

Here’s how to make these cute Finding Dory Rice Krispies Snacks Recipe

Ingredients for rice krispies:

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
3 tablespoons butter
1 package Mini Marshmallows

Instructions on how to make rice krispies:

1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Next is to add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
2. Remove from heat.
3. Add the rice krispies and stir until well coated.
4. Next is to evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray.
5. Cool and it’s ready!

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Follow steps 2 and 3 above. Microwave cooking times may vary.

Time to decorate the Finding Dory Rice Krispies Snacks

Ingredients

Wilton Ready-To-Use White Decorator Icing
Yellow Food Coloring
Black Food Coloring
Blue Food Coloring
Candy Eyes

Tools
Finding Dory Paper Template (or any fish template)
Wooden Rods

Instructions

1. Prepare your Rice Krispies Treats
2. Add food coloring to white decorators icing, (or you can use Wilton’s Writing Gel).
3. Place Finding Dory paper template on top of Rice Krispies block. Using a knife, cut around template. Remove Finding Dory Rice Krispies fish cutout from block.

4. Add blue frosting to top layer of fish.
5. Add set of candy eyes to fish.
6. Outline fish accents with black frosting (referencing Finding Dory cutout).

7. Add yellow frosting accents to fish, (at fins).
8. Push wooden stick inside of fish.

9. Place in refrigerator for 15 minutes to set. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
