French Onion Burgers Recipe
When it comes to dinner time, easy dinners that also taste good are a must! One of my daughters favorite things to eat is Burgers, but we were all growing tired of regular burgers and decided we needed to step it up a bit. That is where my French Onion Burgers Recipe comes in!
Here is my easy French Onion Burgers Recipe
You Will need:
- 1 pound hamburger meat
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions
- 1 can Campbell’s French Onion Soup
- 4 Pepperidge Farm Hamburger Buns (another labels for education product!)
- Toppings of your choice
First- In a bowl combine your hamburger meat, breadcrumbs, egg, and green onions. Using your hands, mix all ingredients together well.
Next, Form 1/2 inch thick patties. (Note- Put a thumb print in the middle of your burgers to help burgers maintain their shape and not shrink!)
Then- Cook your burgers in a skillet on Med/High until cooked through. Remove the burgers and pour out any excess fat. Pour a can of Campbell’s French Onion Soup into your skillet and bring to a boil. Once boiling add your burgers back into the skillet and turn heat down to low. Cover and let cook for 5 minutes. (This is what will make your burgers super moist and full of flavor!)
Next- uncover your burgers and top with cheese, let it melt slightly, then assemble your burger!
