Okay some people love tomatoes raw and others only eat them “in pizza.” Well, these two quick and easy recipes allow for a quick appetizer or “salad” for each of those individuals!

Fun Healthy Recipes for Kids: Tomatoes Recipe for Everyone
Ingredients
- Sliced raw tomatoes
- mayonnaise
- Tonys or Salad delight
- Basil
- Parmesan
- Mozarella
Instructions
- The raw tomatoes can be served with a dollop of mayonnaise and a sprinkling of Tonys or Salad delight (Mccormick spice.)
- For cooked tomatoes put the slices on a broiler safe pan.
- Sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil, basil, parmesan and if desired a bit of mozarella. Broil until the cheese is melted and the tomatoes are limp.
You could easily tell your child that this is a different type of pizza - just a tomato crust rather than a grain crust. Add a pepperoni if you need to! You can call this gluten free pizza!:) I would highly recommend eating with a fork though because the tomato is literally limp and you may have a big mess if you try to pick it up to eat it!
