Healthy Meals in Minutes: Tuna and Salsa
Healthy recipes do not have to be hard to make. I made this healthy meals in minutes by going to my favorite store Trader Joes. I love it so much we even have a Trader Joe’s must buy list. The reason why I selected to do a complete Trader Joe’s recipe is it cheap and easy.
I found the tuna in the frozen food section. I simply placed it in the refrigerator to thaw. Then I sprinkled some olive oil in the pan and poured in some of Trader Joes peppers. I cut a red onion and added that in as well.
Then I started another skillet I am in love with this one, Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron 11-3/4-Inch Skillet with Iron Handle.
I know this is an expensive skillet but I use it everyday for the last five years and it still looks brand new. I guess you could say it is in an investment. You cook the Tuna according to the directions on the package but basically you sear it on each side. Then I placed the veggies on top. Looks pretty ha.
The next step while you are cooking the fish is adding water to the frozen Trader Joe’s Green Bean and once they are cooked add a little bit of lemon pepper to bring out the flavor.
The last step of this gourmet quick meal is to place a spoonful of Peach Mango Salsa on the plate it really brings out the flavor of the meal. I love adding peaches to my recipes. You can check out all of our peach recipes.
We also have lots of yummy Recipes for you to experiment and try in the kitchen.
