Memories: Making dinner together

Life is so busy. We have jobs and bills and responsibilities. We have homework to help with and laundry to do. We have lists a mile long. I crumbled mine up and decided I need to make memories with my kids. I mean when my children say you work all the time I knew I needed to make a change. I had to put away my laptop and take out my creativity. I think it is easy to forget that you can do something special with a limited amount of time and money. I decided I was going to answer the what is for dinner question. I would do so for under $5.00 and under an hour.

We ran to the store bought everything they would need for their dream pizza. We worked on our math skills to stay under budget. We had a $5.00 budget so we used our coupons and met our goal. The most important thing was the fun we had making our pizza. We talked about what we wanted our pizza to look like and what we wanted in it. We worked on compromise but most importantly we made a memory and a pizza with goldfish crackers.
