Microwaveable Healthy Dog Treats

Microwaveable Healthy Dog Treats
Ingredients
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
3/4 Cup Powdered Milk
1/2 Cup Quick Cook Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Yellow Cornmeal
1 Tsp Honey
1/3 cup butter, softened (NOT melted)
1 egg
1 Tbsp Chicken Bouillon
1/2 Cup Hot Water
Directions
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients and stir completely to combine.
Break butter into pieces and mix with flour mixture until it forms coarse crumbs.
Add egg to mixture and stir in completely.
In small bowl, dissolve chicken bouillon in 1/2 cup hot water.
Stir liquid briskly into flour mix with a fork.
Form dough into a ball and knead on a floured cutting board or counter for 5 minutes.
Divide the dough ball in half. Roll each half out on floured surface to about 1/2″ thick.
Use a cookie cutter to cut out biscuits.
Roll remaining dough back up into a ball and roll back out to 1/2″ thick and cut additional biscuits. Repeat until all the dough is used up.
Places 6 biscuits around the edge of a microwave safe plate and cook on medium for 5-10 minutes (or until dry and firm to the touch). Turn biscuits over 1/2 way thru cooking time.
Repeat with remaining with biscuits.
