No Bake Fairy Cakes Recipe for Your Fairy Party
Something fun and exciting happened for my daughter this weekend, she was able to do a front pull over on the uneven bars in gymnastics.
For her, this is a huge deal due to poor muscle tone and motor aprexa. It’s a goal she has been working on for quite some time, so when she finally hit this goal, we just had to make sure we made a big deal out of it, and celebrate!
What’s a better way to celebrate than with a small party right?
Now being a busy mom I didn’t have time to throw a grand affair but I wanted to make sure to take the time to show my daughter how proud of her I was. So I teamed up with Sara Lee® to make a special treat and day for my little lady and I wanted to share it with you! I present to you….No Bake White Chocolate Fairy Cakes! The perfect easy-to-make treat so you can celebrate life’s little moments.
Here’s what you will need for these No Bake White Chocolate Fairy Cakes:
- Sara Lee® All Butter Pound Cake
- White Chocolate Baking Chips
- Sprinkles
Making these No Bake White Chocolate Fairy Cakes is super simple, and you will have a tasty treat in about 5 minutes. The beauty of using Sara Lee® All Butter Pound Cake is that the hard work is already done for you! It’s a moist, buttery cake that everyone is sure to love.
After thawing out your Sara Lee® All Butter Pound Cake cut it into slices, and then the slices into squares. (Try not to eat too many of the squares while preparing them, ha!).
Next, melt your white chocolate according to package directions. Lay out some parchment paper over your work space. Dip your cake squares into your chocolate and coat all sides evenly. Lay on parchment paper and sprinkle with, well sprinkles!
These No Bake White Chocolate Fairy Cakes are moist, light, and rich all at the same time. My daughter loved them, and has now insisted that we must have them at every party we throw. With how easy and tasty they are, who am I to disagree?

TIPS FOR PLANNING FAIRY THEMED PARTY FOR KIDS
Hosting a fairy party for kids is a magical experience that will leave a lasting impression on your little ones.
Whether it’s for a birthday celebration or just for fun, planning a fairy party can be a lot of fun and will create memorable memories for you and your child.
Here are some tips to help you make your child’s fairy party a success:
1. Choose Your Fairy Theme
The first step in planning a fairy party is to choose a theme and there are several fairy themes to choose from.
You could go for a traditional fairy theme, or choose something a bit more specific like a Tinkerbell party or a woodland fairy theme, there’s also the Winx faries or the Disney fairies. Do you want it to be a tea party or a full-on birthday party celebration?Once you’ve decided on a theme, you can start planning the decorations, activities and menu accordingly.
2. Create and Send Out Invitations
Once you’ve decided on a theme, it’s time to send out invitations. You could design your own invitations or purchase pre-made ones. Make sure to include all the necessary information, such as the date, time, location, and RSVP details.

4. Plan Fairy Activities and Games
A fairy party wouldn’t be complete without some fun activities. You could have a fairy treasure hunt, making fairy wands, decorating fairy cakes or even a fairy dance party.
Here are 5 fairy party themed games that kids will love:
- Fairy Treasure Hunt: Hide fairy-themed treasures (like fairy wands, tiaras, wings, or glitter) around the party area, and give the children a list of clues to follow. Each clue leads to the next treasure until they find them all. The child who finds the most treasures wins a prize.
- Pin the Wings on the Fairy: Similar to the classic game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey, print out a large picture of a fairy without wings and have the children take turns trying to pin wings on the fairy while blindfolded. The child who gets the closest wins a prize.
- Fairy Tale Charades: Have the children act out different fairy tale characters or scenes (such as a princess, a dragon, a knight in shining armor, etc.) while the other children try to guess what they are. The child who guesses correctly gets to go next.
- Flower Crown Making: Provide children with a variety of flowers, ribbons, and other decorations, and show them how to make their own flower crowns fit for fairies. After everyone has made their crown, they can take a group photo wearing them.
- Fairy Dust Relay Race: Divide the children into teams and give each team a jar of glitter (fairy dust) and a spoon. The first child on each team has to run to the end of the course and back, with the spoon in their mouth, and transfer the glitter from the jar to a small bowl. Then they pass the spoon to the next child in line until all team members have completed the race. The team that finishes first wins a prize.
