Summer is a time for grilling and nothing is more fun to grill than a good old fashion burger. In our family we all like to get involved in the kitchen so we bring the children in the kitchen as much as possible and get their insight into recipe creation. My husband was excited to start the summer off right and after a recent trip to Trader Joes decided to create a burger of his own. My daughter got in on the creating and this is they came up with this Outdoor Cookie Recipes For Kids : Bacon Asiago Cheeseburgers.
Outdoor Cooking Recipes For Kids
Bacon Cheeseburgers Recipe
Ingredients
2 lbs ground chuck
1/2 lb bacon
2 cloves crushed garlic
2 Tsp Onion Salt
2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Pack Hamburger Buns
Sartori Basil and Olive Oil Asiago Cheese
Directions
Preheat Grill to 450*
Cut raw bacon in small pieces and cook in frying pan until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towel.
In Large bowl, combine hamburger, bacon, garlic, and onion salt.
Mix well and make sure that the onion salt, bacon and garlic are spread thru out the whole mixture.
Form meat mixture into a large ball.
Break off a large piece of meat and form into a large patty.
Repeat until you use up all the meat.
Place Patties on Preheated Grill and cook for 8-10 minutes per side.
Slice Cheese and place on burgers.
Toast buns if desired and serve.
