Paper Plate Christmas Wreath
Christmas Art Project For Kids
Paper Plate Christmas Wreath
Only a week until Christmas! As of this week my daughter is out of school for the next 2 weeks and I wanted to think of some things to do with her while she was out of school that didn’t involve staring at the TV for 8 hours a day ha! We love doing crafts and anything that is themed makes my heart happy. So my daughter and I decided to try making a Paper Plate Christmas Wreath that she done in class. I love crafts that are not only super cute but are easy to do and cheap! So with my daughters instuction let’s check out how to make this Christmas Art Project For Kids!
Here’s how to make this Paper Plate Christmas Wreath
You Will Need:
- Paper Plates
- Green Construction Paper
- Glue
- Glitter Glue
- Scissors
- A Bow
Step 1: Grab your paper plates and cut out the middle. Older kids can do this step themselves but you might have to help the younger kids with it.
Step 2: Unfold your paper plate and squeeze some glue around the outside. My daughter adds that “squiggly lines work the best”. Ha!
Step 3: Tear your green construction paper into small pieces (this was my daughters favorite part) and flue to your paper plate. (Now you can see the wreath coming together!)
Step 4: It’s time to get creative! Pull out your glitter glue pens and design anything you want! I love that older kids and younger ones can enjoy customizing their wreath any way they want!
How cute did her Paper Plate Christmas Wreath turn out!? We both made one and have them hanging up on our entertainment center and it looks so festive! From my family to yours, Happy Holidays!
