DIY Flower Pens
Spring is almost here! Or at least that is what I keep telling myself every time I have to put on 5 layers of clothes just to go check the mail. I wanted to make a fun spring craft to bring a little color to this dreary Sunday so I thought these DIY Flower Pens would be perfect! These DIY Flower Pens would make great teachers gifts, favors for parties, or just fun for your own personal use! You would always know if you let someone borrow your pen!
Save On Crafts Project
Here is what you will need to make this DIY Flower Pens:
- Fake Flowers
- Pens (Not click pens! Capped pens only!)
- Scissors
- Hot Glue
- Floral Tape
- Ribbon
Here is how to make this DIY Flower Pens:
Step 1: First using scissors (or wire cutters, depending on how thick your stems are!) cut your flowers from the bottom free from the bouquet
Step 2: Once you have your individual flowers cut the stems to the size of your pen.
Step 3: Next, wrap your floral tape around the pen and the flower, wrapping them tightly together. Start from the top and secure at the bottom.
Step 4: Next, wrap your ribbon around your pen. Starting at the top and wrapping down to the bottom, securing at the top and bottom with a dot of hot glue.
And that is it! 4 simple steps and you have a super cute DIY Flower Pens! This project cost me about $7 and made 6 pens all together. You could also get a cute flower pot and put a whole bouquet of DIY Flower Pens together for a great gift! This is such a versatile project because of the amount of different bunches of fake flowers there are! Make sure you print out a coupon for your local craft store to make this a cheap (but not cheap looking!) craft!
