Champagne Cake Balls Recipe – Perfect For New Years Eve!

Champagne Cake Balls Recipe- The holiday season isn’t over after all the presents are opened. There is still one more major holiday before the next year starts….New Years Eve! Every year my family makes a big deal of New Years Eve because I love the thought of a brand new year, clean slate and all that. So every year we throw a big party for our family and friends. And I’m always looking for fun new recipes to make for the party.

This year I decided to try my hand at making cake balls for a fun dessert but knew it couldn’t be just any kind of cake balls, I had to put a little holiday twist on them. So I decided what is more New Years Eve than champagne right!? So was born my idea for my Champagne Cake Balls Recipe! So if you are looking for a fun dessert idea for your New Years Eve bash these are perfect for you! The recipe is below:

Here is how to make my Champagne Cake Balls Recipe:

You Will Need:

  • 1 Box White Cake Mix

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl, mix together your cake mix, egg whites, oil, and champagne until your cake batter forms.

Step 2: Pour your cake batter into a baking dish, and bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Using your hands, crumble your cake and transfer in to a bowl. Add in your frosting and mix to combine. Place your cake mix in to the fridge for about 3 hours. (You can leave it in overnight as well)

Step 4: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using your hands, form balls out of your cake mix. Place them on your parchment paper and place in the freezer for an hour.

Step 5: In a bowl, melt your white chocolate chips until smooth. Roll your cake balls into the white chocolate until well coated. Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle your cake balls with edible glitter for a fun New Years Eve flare. Let harden, and enjoy!
