Easy Tater Tot Casserole Recipe
If there is one thing kids all seem to love, it’s tater tots. I know my little girl can eat tater tots any day of the week so we always seem to have them in the house. So when we were deciding what to have for dinner last night, my daughter said she wanted tater tots, and I told her she couldn’t just eat them by themselves! That is when I remembered my easy tater tot casserole recipe and knew it would be perfect! It’s nice and easy to make, filling, and kids love it! After a hectic day, this recipe is something that only takes about 15 minutes of prep time, and is a perfect hot meal for the whole family!
Here is what you will need to make this easy Tater Tot Casserole Recipe:
- 1 lb ground beef (we used turkey meat)
- 1 bag frozen tots
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper to taste
Here is how to make this Easy Tater Tot Casserole Recipe:
Step 1:Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Brown your beef and add in your onions and salt and pepper.
Step 2: Add your cream of mushroom to your beef and onions and stir in well.
Step 3: Next, arrange your frozen tater tots on the bottom of a casserole dish and pour your beef over the tots.
Step 4: Next add your cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Slice and serve!
That’s it! 4 easy steps for a yummy meal the kids will love, and so will you! Another bonus to this meal is that is reheats really well! Hello leftovers! This is great for us because my husband works nights, so I love meals that he can reheat when he gets home and it’s still good.
