Good Vibrations, Myrtle Beach
Good Vibrations, the newest live show in Calvin Gilmore Theater, is a virtual tour of the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties that is full of the sights and sounds of those memorable decades.
The best music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, blended with rich multimedia screens, special effects, and elaborate costuming, all performed live by the award-winning cast of The Carolina Opry. This fast-paced, high-energy show will take you back to the decades that brought us the best in American popular music – The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Cyndi Lauper, James Brown, Tina Turner, and even KISS just to name a few! Even the comedy is from earlier eras with appearances from some of your favorite TV and film personalities of earlier decades. We guarantee you won’t see anything like this on the Grand Strand!
The show was filled with singing and dancing. Then they took some time to do a little bit of stand up comedy. It was a great blend of music and humor. The kids really enjoyed the dancing and the ability to meet the cast at the end of the show. We found the show to be one for every age. I will let parents know that your young children may dance in the aisle. I couldn’t keep mine in their seat and since they weren’t tall enough to obstruct anyone’s vision I just let them dance and sing along. I think music is a wonderful memory to added to any trip. It is the one thing that unites everyone and brings joy and happiness to those that can hear.
I think one of our favorite parts of the show were the comedy sections. the jokes were funny and tasteful and my children didn’t catch the jokes that were meant for the older crew. I am still laughing over the jokes. I can’t imagine not making this a part of your trip if you come to South Carolina, Myrtle Beach.
This is some of my crew and a friend of my crew with the awesome All That members. They allow the fans to come and take a picture with them which was a big hit with my little ones!
