Homemade Fabric Refresher
Save Money with this DIY Fabric Refresher
My house is always full of interesting smells, thanks to my family of people and pets. In my 900 square foot bungalow, there is myself, my husband, 2 kids (9 and 14), my father in law,3 dogs, 2 cats, a hamster, 3 fish and a snake. Odors are constantly coming from some room of the house. I was spending a bundle on Commercial Fabric Refreshers when I realized I could make my own for pennies on the dollar. This DIY method is so easy to make, I will never buy it again.
Ingredients
3 oz Liquid Fabric Softener
2 TBSP Baking Soda
3 Cups Hot Water
Essential Oils – if using unscented Fabric Softener (Lavender and Lemon are my favorite)
Directions
In Spray Bottle (I used a clear one from the Dollar Store but you can reuse your old fabric refresher bottle) pour in fabric softener.
Add Hot Water to fabric softener
Using a funnel add baking soda.
If using essential oils, add a few drops now based on how strong you want the scent.
Shake Well to combine ingredients.
**Shake gently before each use**
