Hot Chocolate Peppermint Cupcakes Recipe

We are under 10 days until Christmas ya’ll! This week my goal is to plan my Christmas menu and prep my shopping list. Every year I let my daughter pick one items she wants me to make for Christmas day and this year we searched through pintererst together and she decided she just had to have some Hot Chocolate Peppermint Cupcakes because who doesn’t love cupcakes? Exactly. This recipe is full of great holiday flavors and admit it, they are super adorable looking right!? 

Here is how to make my Hot Chocolate Peppermint Cupcakes:

You Will Need:

• 1 box chocolate cake mix
• 1 cup milk
• 1/2 cup hot chocolate mix
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 2 large eggs
• Cream Cheese Frosting
• Candy Canes
• Mini Marshmallows

First, Mix your cake mix, milk, eggs, oil, and hot chocolate mix together and pour batter into cupcake liners. Bake according to package instructions. Let cool

Next, Frost your cupcakes and top with some crushed candy canes.

Then, After icing your cupcakes break out your mini marshmallows and  push them into the frosting. You can go around the cupcake as I have or you can go crazy with some fun patterns or designs.

 

Finally, add a candy cane “handle” on your Hot Chocolate Peppermint Cupcakes to bring that festively cute factor up and over the edge. How cute are these going to look on your Christmas table? Too cute, that’s how much.
