When I was pregnant I was desperate to find morning sickness remedies that really worked for my body. Having all day sickness made it hard to simply snack on saltine crackers in the morning. I needed to be able to eat, drink, and work while not feeling nauseated constantly. Since I understand all about morning sickness, here are some great morning sickness remedies you can use at home, work, or even while out and about!
Morning Sickness Remedies For Any Mama To Be
In my experience morning sickness is the worst part of being pregnant. When I was pregnant with my daughter a little over two years ago I had morning sickness from week 6 to week 28! I am all for no prescriptions and over the counter morning sickness remedies while pregnant, but because of how sick I was I had to take a prescription medicine every single day at least once to keep from being sick all day long. Even with the
Even with the medication, I was sick and the side effects were terrible. I would sleep all the time! Thankfully I did not have any children to take care of and also glad I did not have a full-time job as well. I would have lost it I am sure with how sick I was. There were several times I should have gone to the hospital because I was dehydrated as well. I could go on forever with how terribly sick I was! Thankfully in the end, my daughter is completely fine.
I am currently pregnant now with our second little one! I am now 22 weeks pregnant and when they say every pregnancy is different I am oh so very thankful! I have only had a few days when I have had morning sickness! I will also say Sea-Band Mama® products have also helped as well! they have two great products that are very easy to use and I am not harming my little one either!
The Sea-Band Mama® line provides effective ways to ease morning sickness naturally with drug-free acupressure wristbands and ginger lozenges, used separately or together! Days that I wake up and feel nauseous I will put the Sea-Bands Mama wristband on and will pop in a lozenge before I even get out of bed! Other days when it is not as bad I will just wear the Sea-Bands Mama wristband till about noon then see how the rest of my day goes! The Sea-Bands Mama wrist bands use acupressure to trigger the P6 Nei Kuan pressure point on the inside of the wrist to alleviate nausea and vomiting. When I saw this at CVS I knew I had to give this a try!!! I am so very glad I did too! The lozenges are Free from artificial colors and flavors. Sea-Bands Mama Ginger Lozenges were formulated with essential ginger oils to help relieve upset stomach. They also include folic acid to contribute to a normal maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
