Quick Pizza Balls Recipe For Kids

What do kids love more than pizza? Pizza that can fit in the palm of their hands, and that they can dip into sauce! My Quick Pizza Balls Recipe is a perfect and easy weeknight dinner that you and your kids will love! Not only is this pizza balls recipe easy to make, it’s something the kids can help out with, and each person can stuff their pizza ball with whatever they want! Let’s check out how to make them

Here is how you make this Quick Dinner of Pizza Balls:

You Will Need:

  • 1 tube Biscuits
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Shredded Mozzarella
  • Whatever “toppings” you want in your pizza balls (meats, veggies, etc)
  • 1 egg
  • Italian seasoning
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Remove your biscuits from the tube and roll them out until flat. Layer your chosen ingredients over 1 tbsp of sauce.

Step 3: Fold the dough over to form a ball. Place your pizza balls into a greased muffin tin crimped side down.

Step 4: In a bowl crack an egg and whisk. Brush egg wash on top of your pizza balls and then top with seasoning and Parmesan cheese.

Step 5: Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6: Serve hot along side some pizza sauce for dipping and enjoy!

These Quick Pizza Balls were a huge hit at my house!

I love that it was easy to make, and my 7 year old loved that she could help me make them! It also make a great math lesson for the little ones, have them help you count out the pepperonis, cheese, and balls! For my fun recipes for kids like this one, check out our Cooking with Kids Page!
