Baked Ravioli Casserole Recipe
Do you hate making a lasagna? Do they take to long? I have the easiest meal ever to make. It freezes well. It can even be cooked in a crockpot. I make these ravioli casseroles for all my friends. I make them for every occasion because they are easy and taste wonderful! I believe that meals should be healthy, so this is my version in making sure your children eat their spinach. I also like that my kids can help me make this meal. I offer this baked ravioli casserole recipe as part of my freezer cooking swap co-op and it is well received. If you have ten minutes you can make a couple of these to get started in your freezer cooking, life-saving, meal preparation habit.
Here’s how to make my Baked Ravioli Casserole Recipe
32 pieces frozen cheese ravioli (approx 1 pound)
1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce or use my Secret Gravy Homemade Spaghetti sauce
1?2cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1?2cup shredded Mozzarella
2 cups of spinach
2 TBS of Olive oil
1 TBS of garlic chopped
Instructions on how to make Baked Ravioli Casserole
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Then in a pan saute the spinach in the olive oil
While this is cooking grease an 8×8 glass dish
Create your first layer of ravioli
Pour half of the sauce on top of the ravioli
Then put on a layer of the sauteed spinach
Sprinkle on the chopped garlic
Sprinkle parmesan cheese evenly over entire dish
Place remaining ravioli in single layer on top of the cheese
Spoon remaining sauce over ravioli, making sure ravioli are covered
Place remaining spinach in a single layer on top of ravioli and sauce.
Cover dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes
Then uncover the dish
Sprinkle mozzarella over top of your lazy lasagna as I like to call it for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted
