Need to lose a few extra pounds, Or just want to eat healthier? I started cutting out as many bad carbs as possible! I started using cauliflower as my crust for pizzas and quiche! This is great for those who are eating gluten free. My whole entire family loved this cheesy gluten free quiche recipe with cauliflower crust so I wanted to share this amazing recipe with you too!

Here’s how to make this Low Carb Gluten Free Quiche Recipe

There are two steps to this quiche.

First Step is to make the crust for the quiche ( this recipe can be used for a pizza crust as well!)

How to make a Cauliflower Crust Recipe

One head of Cauliflower
1/2 c Mozzeralla shredded cheese
1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 eggs lightly beaten
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano

Preheat the over to 400 degrees

Break up the head of cauliflower and pulse it in the food processor til its fine. Steam it in a steam basket for about 10 minutes. Let it cool and drain all the liquid out! I take a cheese cloth to get it all!

In a bowl combine the eggs, cheeses, salt garlic and oregano then add the cauliflower.

Transfer the mixture to a nonstick pan or dish and Bake for 20 minutes.

Second Step

Ham and Cheese Quiche Recipe

(this recipe can be tweaked as well you can substitute ham for sausage for bacon.)

5 Large eggs
1 cup of cheddar cheese ( or any cheese you prefer)
3/4 cup of heavy cream
onions (optional)
salt and pepper

While the crust is baking I mix this up

First I start sautéing 1/3 cup of onions diced
mix the eggs with the heavy cream, add 3/4 cup of the cheese, salt, pepper then finally mix in the onions.

Once the crust is done pour the quiche batter into the pan and bake for 40 minutes. Take it out and add the last 1/4 cup of cheese to the top and bake for the last 10 minutes.

Let it cool for about 5 minutes and serve! Want to give it a kick add some hot sauce or your favorite salsa! 🙂
