Instant Pot Salmon Recipe
I have three rules in the kitchen. 1) Is I need to make Healthy meals 2) They need to be quick 3) There can’t be a big mess I hate dishes. That is why I fell in love with my instant pot. You can read my instant pot review.
I also have a husband who eats Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and Egg-free Instapot Recipes. That means I have to cook things he can eat and also please the three offsprings. We all know finding meals that are healthy, tasty, and kid approved is like finding a four leaf clover is the dessert. I must be lucky because of my kids like this simple Instant Pot Salmon Recipe. You only need a couple of ingredients which makes life more comfortable on my limited memory and my budget.
Instant Pot Salmon Recipe
Ingredients:
1 LB Salmon with the skin on the bottom
2 Lemons (One to cut and one to juice)
A couple of springs dill
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3/4 cup of water
You will need to use the grill piece that came with your unit. If you lost yours as I did, then you can use your steamer basket.

Here’s how to make this instapot salmon recipe
1) Place 3/4 cup of water in the bottom of the instapot.
2) Juice one of the lemons at the bottom of the pressure cooker with the water
3) Place the steam basket or the grill piece in the pressure cooker
4) Put the fish skin down on the steamer basket or grill piece
5) Sprinkle the salt on top of the fish
6) Sprinkle the pepper on top of the fish
7) Tear the dill on top of the fish
8) Cut the lemon
9) Place the lemon rounds on top of the Salmon
10) Turn on the pressure cooker for 3 minutes. I can click fish and then select the time.
11) Once your meal is done open your pressure cooker and remove the salmon.
Dill Dipping Sauce Recipe
1/3 cup Mayo
1/3 cup Sour Cream
2 TBS of onions
1 Tsp of horseradish
3 TBS of Lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
I like to dips so I make a dill sauce to dip for me, but it isn’t dairy free, so I make this for my husband and my pesto recipe. I just leave out the cheese for my husband.
